Robin – Office Manager
Robin joined the Triad Oral Surgery team when it opened in 2012 and became the practice Office Manager in 2016. She is a High Point native with over nine years of experience in the dental field and has especially enjoyed working in oral surgery. Robin has a wonderful husband, two adorable little boys and a sweet little bulldog that she loves very much. Robin excels in administrative areas such as planning and organization and is always looking for ways to better herself and the practice. During her free time, Robin enjoys shopping, beach vacations, and spending time with her family.
Dana, who is a DA II, is a veteran here at Triad. Her bright personality and humor keep the whole office laughing. Patients especially love Dana’s ability to make them feel at ease when preparing for surgery. With over twelve years of dental experience, she is a great resource for any questions that patients may have. She graduated from GTCC and also has her phlebotomy certification. When she isn’t working, Dana loves spending time with her husband and their twin girls who keep them quite busy. During the warm months, you can always find her and her family at the beach, by the pool, or fishing.
Penny – Administrative
Penny is the practice Clinical Manager. She has an incredible amount of experience, as she’s been in the oral surgery field since 1982. She was an office-trained dental assistant for the majority of those years, so she has the clinical expertise to help with insurance authorizations and appeals now. Dr. Simoncic specializes in implant placement, a procedure that may require multiple appointments, so Penny is there every step of the way to answer any and all questions the patient may have. A North Carolina native, she grew up on a farm in Randolph County. She has two children and one granddaughter who she spends most of her time with. On the weekends, Penny loves to paint pottery with her granddaughter and curl up with a good book.
Jesika – Assistant Manager
Jesika is an all-star veteran and has been with Dr. Simoncic since the beginning. She has a bubbly personality and will keep you laughing. Her extensive knowledge of insurance and claims puts patients at ease when trying to navigate through their benefits. She is the team leader at our Asheboro Oral Surgery practice and works closely with Triad to give our patients the best care possible, and is especially helpful with our bi-lingual patients. Jesika is originally from New York, but has called North Carolina home since 1998. She has over eight years of experience in the dental field with most of those years specializing specifically in oral surgery. She is a wonderful mother to her son, Adam and she loves spending quality time with him. During her “me-time,” Jesika enjoys cooking, listening to music, and going to the beach. She is a thyroid cancer survivor and is actively involved in community awareness of this disease.
Claire – Billing Coordinator
Claire joined the Triad Oral Surgery team in 2014. Her many years of office experience and “can-do” attitude make her an excellent team member. Due to her assertive manner, Claire is great at getting things done. You can often find her on the phone with insurance companies advocating on behalf of our patients. Claire is our only part-time employee and is also currently a full-time student in Nursing School. Originally from Alabama, she and her husband moved to North Carolina in 2012 with their two fur babies. When she’s not working or studying, she loves hiking with her husband and dogs, reading, and taking weekend trips home to Alabama.
Holly – Marketing Coordinator
Holly has been with Triad Oral Surgery since 2014 and her smiling face is the first thing patients see when they arrive. She assists patients with registration and appointment scheduling, while also acting as Marketing Coordinator for the practice. She has over nine years of experience in the dental field and her knowledge and experience make her a valuable member of the team. While she is originally from Long Island, New York, she made North Carolina home in 2006, and enjoys the warmer weather. Holly and her husband have a growing family which includes a son and a new baby girl. Her family lives a very active lifestyle and you can often find them in the mountains skiing and snowboarding or spending their summers enjoying water sports on the lake.
Luci – Insurance Coordinator
Luci is the insurance guru for the practice. She has more than three years of dental experience and focuses mostly on assisting patients with understanding their insurance coverage and ensuring patients are receiving the full amount of benefits available. Luci is bilingual and is especially helpful in serving our Spanish-speaking patients. Her sweet, bubbly personality makes her a joy to work with and there isn’t a team member who will tell you otherwise. Luci and her husband have a growing family, with one precious little girl and another sweet baby on the way. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and pampering herself with a well-deserved manicure.
Andrea – Treatment Coordinator
Andrea is a vital part of our office staff. Her bright smile and fun personality keeps the whole office laughing. She is our primary Treatment Plan Coordinator and assists patients in understanding the financial side of their appointment. Andrea is a versatile member of the team because she earned her DA II at Guilford County Community College and is able to assist in the clinical area if necessary. She has been in the dental world for over 16 years now and wouldn’t want to do anything else. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and stepson or reading a good book.
Jill – Patient Coordinator
Jill is a fresh face with Triad Oral Surgery, but no one would know because of how quickly she catches on. Since joining the office staff, she has shown great work ethic and a positive attitude and fits in wonderfully with the team. Jill has a clinical background which helps her excel in office-to-office communication and assisting patients with post-operative questions. She earned her DA II through GTCC and UNC-Chapel Hill and has been working in the dental field since the age of 15. Jill is happily married to husband Jack and has two children, a son and a step-daughter. She is a Greensboro native and has loved growing up here. During her free time, she enjoys playing disc golf and spending time with her family.
Jennifer is an essential part of our front office staff and her southern charm puts our patients right at ease. She works primarily in our Asheboro location serving the Asheboro community and surrounding areas. Jennifer is a North Carolina native and loves living here. She’s been in the dental field for over 15 years now, so she definitely knows her stuff. She is here to assist patients in many different ways including: patient registration, making appointments, and insurance verification. When she’s not at Asheboro Oral Surgery, she enjoys taking trips with her husband and daughter to the beach and mountains to relax.
Jeff – Lead Surgical Assistant
Jeff has been with Triad Oral Surgery since 2013 and is such a lively team member. His larger-than-life personality keeps the whole office laughing. He has a smile that can light up any patient’s day and make them feel right at ease when going into surgery. He attended Randolph Community College and has certifications in dental assisting, medical technician, ECG technician, and phlebotomy. His wide range of experience makes him a trust-worthy assistant and makes fellow staff members comfortable to come to him with questions. Jeff has been in the dental world for more than five years now and is always looking to learn new things. During his free time, he is actively involved in his church and loves to play sports and ride horses.
Tennisha – Surgical Assistant
Tennisha, whom her coworkers affectionately refer to as “T”, is a member of the clinical side of our team. She is a DA II and received her Associate’s Degree from Miller-Motte College in 2012. She has the unique ability to make everyone around her laugh even in stressful situations; that coupled with her cheerful demeanor and keen attention to detail, puts patients at ease and makes her a great asset to the team. Tennisha has four vibrant children who help keep her young. She loves spending time with them and watching their different personalities come to life. She has called North Carolina home for over thirteen years now and enjoys living here.
Tiffany – Surgical Assistant
Tiffany makes a wonderful team member for Triad Oral Surgery. She has been in the dental field since 2013 and is a certified DAII. She graduated from Piedmont Dental School and is also certified in phlebotomy which allows her to set up IV’s for our surgical patients. Tiffany always has a smile on her face and has a knack for making patients feel comfortable even in stressful situations. She was born and raised in Greensboro and is an avid Duke Basketball fan. Tiffany has a wonderful husband and three precious children who she loves spending time with. They spend a lot of their time together and taking trips to the beach.
Dakota – Surgical Assistant
Dakota is a great new addition to the Triad team. She’s soft spoken, and you can always find her with a smile on her face. She got her dental assistant certification from GTCC and also has a CDA. She has over four years of experience in the dental field and loves working in oral surgery. She has a loving boyfriend and two fur babies that she adores and spends most of her free time with them. Dakota can be found riding four wheelers on the weekends with her family and in the church pew on Sunday mornings. She was born and raised in North Carolina and loves living here.
Angie – Surgical Assistant
Angie is a DAII with over 24 years of experience in the oral surgery field, so she really knows her stuff. She earned her certification at Guilford Tech and has loved this profession ever since. Her extensive knowledge and overwhelming amount of experience make her a great asset to the Triad team and helps to make patients feel at ease. Angie’s hobbies include gardening, decorating, reading, and spending time with her teenage son. Her favorite thing about working in the dental community is getting to know the patients.
